I just got back from an impromptu trip to New Orleans with Biana. You can check out all the pics here.

Highlights of our trip included The Pharmacy Museum, a 5-story tree house built by artists using salvaged materials from Katrina, riding the St. Charles Streetcar, checking out some old cemeteries, and trying Absinthe.

Some things I've done

  • Built awesome websites for Atlas Obscura, Sawhorse Media, Echo Atlanta, and others.
  • Thru-hiked the Applachian Trail from Georgia to Maine (6 months, 2174 miles)
  • Thru-hiked the Cohos Trail with my girlfriend (2 weeks, 162 miles)
  • Built TrailPhone.net, a phone / map system for Appalachian Trail hikers
  • Produced a podcast called Dailysonic and a series of 1-minute radio dramas called Fuck You Robot
  • Created an immersive sound play for planetariums called The Somnium
  • Lived, studied, gardened, watched birds in Israel for a year
  • Played crunchy ambient music on the subway
  • Adopted a dog named Alex
